Can he get released on bond?
To find out, call (956) 729-9655 to speak to the ICE officer handling your relative’s case. The ICE officer can sometimes tell you if he is eligible for release on bond. Sometimes, however, it takes a long time for ICE to determine bond eligibility, and ICE officers may be difficult to reach. In any case, you can often challenge an ICE officer’s bond decision by requesting a bond hearing before the immigration court. An experienced immigration attorney can request such a hearing, and give your relative the best shot of being released on bond and for the lowest amount.
Getting Legal Help
If your relative is in immigration detention at the Laredo Detention Center, it is essential that you find an immigration lawyer who is experienced in removal and deportation defense. He can help your relative get released on immigration bond, and give him the best possible chance of avoiding deportation. Without quick intervention by immigration attorney, your relative may hurt his own chances of winning his case and staying in the country.
